oh miss hailey.

i told you it was birthday week. and today's another birthday- hailey edgington.

she was the first person i met here, no lie. i was checking in with my mom and so nervous.

then i met her and her roommate, elisa. they were so cute and hailey was so happy and outgoing, i felt so welcome. i won't lie, she was kinda what i expected out a byu freshman girl, but all the same i was so happy for her friendliness.

i remember one of the first nights here before school had even started, we were outside sitting on the stairs talking about different things. she got in a fight defending wrestling with some guy. it was hilarious, she's so nice but was defensive, quite an interesting mix :)

from there we got closer and closer. we have a lot in common, and get a lot really well. sometimes we fake fight lately, its really cute. its like a nice girl fight because hailey doesn't want to make me mad. :) she's so cute. she lost her grandpa last year, too. it was really hard for me because i knew what she was going through, but it was also cool to see how me going through a similar situation in the recent past educated me on how to be there when someone else was going through it. a blessing in disguise i guess.

 

next year she's leaving me, and going to byu-idaho. but that's cool. she'll do great things, and if she knows its the right thing to do i am behind her 100%. i'll miss her tons though. but i'm really happy i've had this year for her. 

so here's to hailey. she's the best. two days older than me. and that means she turns nineteen today.
