someday i will wed.

for those of you who don't know, i have a board on pinterest called someday i will wed.
for those of you who don't know, i have an obsession with weddings.
for those of you who don't know, i have two engaged roommates.
for those of you who don't know, i don't want to get married but i want to plan a wedding so bad!
for those of you who don't know, i am considering changing my major to better cater my dream of event (wedding) planning. 

so, this post is me pretending i'm in love and i am to wed. obviously this is false, and obviously please know i am okay with it, BUT if it did happen at this moment.. this is what attending my wedding would be like.

thanks for attending my fake blogger wedding.. now just look forward to lots and lots of real weddings this summer, starting in less a month! ps did you hear my first friend in line to wed, raleigh, was featured on the utah bride blog?! so cool. she's a babe and i'm so happy for her. can't wait for april 20 & 21!

things that made me happy.

this week brought the potential of five tests, reviews, work, and minor dramatic moments. i'm mostly just happy i got out of it alive.

passport application: submitted! the line was long and the conversation was, well, post office line conversation. but it's done!

celebrating bryn's birthday din din. then watching her get her ears pierced. twenty years old and her piercing viriginity is finally stripped!

having a really rough night and having my grandma call me and make everything seem okay. my grandma is better than your grandma. i love her lots.

passing my calc test with one try left. and getting exactly the 80% necessary. goodbye 9 am class! proud to say i only skipped once. (don't worry those lower scores don't count on my grade, it's pass/fail and all you need is one 80) :)

noticing i have homework for my study abroad prep class. tell me that isn't exciting? tell me i'm not lucky to be excited about homework? yeah. thought so.

seeing a best friend find her wedding dress. i may or may not have teared up. #iloveweddings

talking to my brother sam and asking, "is there anything else you need to tell me?" and him responding, "just that i love you."

splurging and getting a new skirt at h&m. no, it was not necessary but yes, i am very happy about it.

finding the silver lining in this week.. i have many blessings to be counting :)

friday was SO random, but so fun! long story short.. erin, brittany, holly, and i ended up at a jewelry store. obviously no one was opposing the idea. (ps holly is a friend from high school, long story short this summer she got baptized, married, and moved to utah. her husband goes to snow and they have came up to visit a couple times now, but this time she left in provo for a weekend with me! it was lots of fun, who would have thought? not me. but it definitely works!) we were at wilson diamonds next zupas. they were so nice and put up with us clearly single girls just wishing and dreaming. (minus holly, holly most definitely has a ring and boy.) long story short, we found plenty of dream rings. i was actually surprised how picky i was.. okay not exactly. but i definitely have a "type." (now i just need a boy.)

this was the winner of the night. someday this post and this picture will actually somehow help me with something real :)
random friday girl's night out? success.

oh yeah.. it's homecoming week. i dug out my warmest jacket and went to the game. i was somewhat dreading it but i'm glad i did. we won! and i got to see girls from my hall last year. win, win.

quick thoughts.

12 days? yep its been a while.
but the last 21 days or so have been crazy!
i've been all over..
st. george > midwest > road trip from SD to UT > st. george > zions national park > st. george > current residence in orem, ut.
i've rekindled friendships at home,
remembered why i love family reunions so much.. and my family,
got sick and had to have my mom pack up my life,
moved up north,
started working a new, temporary job,
tried to hold in my extreme excitement for my sophomore year at BYU.

yes, i love life.
lately pinterest is my thing.
i spend waaay too much time on it and i have added a new "craft ideas" folder to my bookmarks.
today i will be tackling
this one.

i am seeing how i like the end product and hoping to use it in my uncle jared's wedding reception photo booth i am in charge of.
if anyone has any cute ideas for a diy photo booth please holla!
however, i have lots of ideas coming from all over stuck in my head and hopefully soon i'll be doing something with them.
