mormon message thursday?

i know its not sunday, but i had to share this!

tonight i wanted to watch a "mormon message" before going to bed. (look them up on you tube, i promise you they'll make your day better.)

i watched one on temples, and decided to watch one more. and i'm so glad i did. :)

this year i have the opportunity to study the book of mormon as my religion course. this semester i have brother marsh as my teacher- he is so awesome! i love his class, that class, and all the comes with it. he applies what we're learning to our lives, tells stories you will rarely hear anywhere else that are so personal and touching, and he makes me want to read the book of mormon like never before.

i haven't been the best, but after watching this video it, it had special meaning. right now we're in the "prime chapters" of the book of mormon. third nephi, when Christ is ministering to the nephites and lamanites in the americas. he's blessing the children and healing the sick. they love him so much and don't want him to leave, but he has to go visit his "other sheep". there were 2500 people there that day and he saw each one of them. i can't imagine what it was like to be there.
anyways, if you're interested i encourage you to read it for yourself. and if you do it with good intent and with the spirit of prayer i promise you that you will believe what it says, believe in Christ, and want to keep reading and now more.
