it was conference weekend! one of my favorites thus far, easily. i was able to attend both pm sessions in the conference center with great seats! (thanks dad.)
the salt lake temple never ceases to amaze me with its beauty. its refreshing to see this pillar of faith and righteousness right in the middle of a busy city.
every view of it is perfect and there is no way to make it look bad.
this is not the salt lake temple obviously, but it is the future provo temple! i can't explain the excitement in our apartment as President Monson explained how the provo tabernacle had burnt down last winter and the church would restore it.. into the second provo, utah temple! less than an hour later we passed by it on our way to conference and it was such a neat thing to think about the restoration and construction that would take place that we would be able to watch soon. i was not expecting that announcement at all, but feel that it was a truly inspired decision.
