there's me. plain ol' me.
there's alex. she's a babe.
there's spencer. who i've never met, but met through alex's stories.
and there's elder nielson. who i've never met, and have absolutely no clue who he is.
me + alex = roomies next year.
spencer + elder nielson = missionaries in the chicago mission.
this story starts with elder nielsEn, so i guess he's number five on the character list. he and spencer are mission companions. elder nielsEn is from another country, doing his best with the english language, etc. alex faithfully writes spencer, and we thought it would be fun if i wrote spencer's companion. it could be cool and it could maybe even help him with his english.
so, i wrote elder nielsEn an awkward letter. it was kinda humorous how awkward it was. i just explained who i was, told him a little about myself, asked a couple questions, and said he didn't have to write me back.
but.. then yesterday i got a letter from elder nielsOn. uh oh, see the difference? the letter got sent to the wrote elder nielsOn/nielsEn, because they all go to the mission home then are distributed. and being the great guy he is, elder nielsOn wrote me to explain what had happened.
"long story but this is elder nielsOn not elder nielsEn the one you were writing."
"anyway just to let you know that I gave the letter back to the office and they should forward it to him, so don't loose faith in your boo if he doesn't write for a while.."
and the best line:
"ps- you owe me 44 cents for a forwarding stamp haha jk i'll let it slide this time"
so anyways, i think i'm going to write elder nielson back, just to thank him for his time :) haha. any suggestions on what to say? this should be interesting.
update: yeah, i know i wrote this like two seconds ago.
i just wrote him back.. here is proof.
and don't worry, i paid him back his 44 cents.
my mom and i are dying of laughter right now!
