e palm.

so.
this week is what we like to call birthday week at home.
and to introduce birthday week i'd like to introduce a very special girl.
her name is emily palmer.
her mom's name is the same as mine.
her dad coaches a basketball team that is now state bound.
and she has just one little skinny brother who likes to run amongst other things.
sometimes i like to think me them as the child they always wanted.. emily and hayden obviously don't cut it :)

kidding. they're a great family with great kids.
i like to think of emily as my answered prayer.
high school was kinda tough for me. i was confused about things friends were doing.. and where i fit in.
but don't get me wrong, i have some great friends from my high school.
but my group of friends would not be complete without em.

she like a cinderella story, and so do i.
she likes dashboard, secondhand, and other bands like that, and so do i.
she likes to eat chinese with me, and i actually like it.
she had a boyfriend beginning of sophomore year, and so did i. (sorry i had to haha)
she gets obsessed with yahtzee, and so do i.

she's from beresford, south dakota. ever heard of it?
didn't think so :)
she's a really good basketball player, so her junior year so transferred to a BD sioux falls school.
pretty brave thing to do, eh?
and now she's still a stud because she's on the moorhead basketball team. aka college.
we've never lived by one another, but we made it work with road trips and weekends.

she's awesome.
she isn't LDS, but has way high standards for herself.
she works hard and deserves everything she gets.
she'll always be there for you.
she goes the extra mile just to make you feel special.

want her to be your friend?
too bad she's mine.

oh yeah, here she is.
so conclusion is, we're best friends. and we're three days apart.
pretty sweet, huh?
so today's her day.
i hope it's extra special like she is :)
