the year of 'perfect ten' in review- day one.

this was a big big year for me, so in honor of 2010, i've decided to break down the ten most important moments/experiences/activities/etc of the year.
every day for the next ten days i'll share one of the "tens" of my 2010.

the most important ten of 2010 #1

graduation (from high school)

its funny how something can be so important, and in a matter of months barely be a thought. this is high school to me. i threw myself into those four years.. student council, grades, community service, family, friends, babysitting.. it all was my world. now few of those things still apply to my life. but of course one, the most important of them, is the same- family.
graduation parties are big in the midwest, and my family thought it was pretty silly. my mom and dad would say, "you better graduate high school, its expected, so i don't understand why you deserve a party." but we kept with the tradition. and it was quite a party.
much of high school seems so silly now, but most of it is what got me here, or made me who i am today. so for that i look back, smile, am grateful, but am glad i've moved on.
