first week of college edition

i usually actually like school, and i was kinda numb when it came to college.
actually that might be a lie, i was somewhat excited.
i have some great classes that i was excited about, and no offense but dvhs never offered them to me.

so.. i set out with a back pack full of knowledge and an empty head.

kidding, kinda, but here's the standard first day of school picture!

i have two classes, poli sci/ current events and business career lecture series, that do not have any homework and are pass or fail. i'm pretty excited about that.
i can't tell if american heritage is hard and interesting or just hard.
book of mormon will be good, i'm excited to explore it from a new perspective with a class full of educated and alert students, a little different from my early morning seminary class :)
other than that there's marketing management and career exploration..
i like my schedule a lot actually!

friday there was a pep rally! i was so excited, but before we made a pit stop to watch a boy open his mission call, a first for the most part. i don't know anyone i'm close to who has ever went on a mission and it was reallly neat to see how excited he was. one of my favorite parts of this week for sure.

long story short, it too a little long to get everyone there so he could open his call and even after erin, raleigh and i squeezed in between a fence, climbed a fence, and ran across a practice field we didn't make it to the stadium before the pep rally was over :/

friday night we went to a hollywood red carpet event.
raleigh, erin, aubry, and i rode with nate, and from this picture you can see he is obviousssly a stud.

while there we also saw these boys, the boy in the purple (jeff) was the guy who opened his mission call. he's going to sweden by the way, how cool right?

and of course it's not a party without sariah :) and felicia.

as you can see it was wayyy over the top.

one of the most anticipated events of this week was the byu v. washington game in edwards stadium. in all honesty, i was a little disappointed. i wish i was with a bigger group of friends, but it was still a neat experience and i think it will be even better at the game v. nevada the 25th.

our seats weren't that great, but it was still quite the experience.

anyways. the end. i love how social everything is and i've met some really great people that i can't wait to get to know more.
at the same time, i'm still in touch with a lot of friends from home that i love to death and i love hearing about all they're doing as well.

how was your first week of school?
hope it was bomb.

staybeautiful, ashleyann :)
